6. Bell X-2 Starbuster
The Bell X-2 Starbuster was another creation by United States and was a research project with the ability to fly at a speed of 3 Mach. Starbuster is powered by two-chamber XLR25 sea level thrust throttle-able engine. The jet is associated with the tragic story of Lt.Col. Frank K, the first one to test it but lost his life in the process
